Monday Afternoon
Well things have finally slowed down now, although the weather is still pretty hot, we now only have to move when we want to, not because we gots lot to do.
Sunday, we had Elizabeth's Baptism at the same church we got married in. It was a very nice service, and we had just family and the Godmothers there.
I picked up a camera on Friday, the pics on the blog may enlarge to SUPER-JI-NORMOUS when you click on them, I am still trying to figure out shrinking the pic files to a nice 4 by 6 size.
Anywhoo, as I was saying the service was very nice, then we came back here to have a bit to eat and some drinks and chat for a bit. Elizabeth was VERY good all day, and even didn't complain when she was handled at the church by the Rev. Linda Spenser & her husband Rev. Ralph Spenser. She even walked with Elizabeth around the church to introduce her to the congregation, and there wasn't a peep. We were not allowed to take photo's during the ceremony, but we were able to stage a pic after.
We decided on a pink frilly christining gown, Elizabeth was very cute in it, we have to see if we can get a few more pics of her in it later this week....when it is cooler of course.
Here is a pic of the Godmothers, Debbie, Rose and Tyna, we feel it is a good choice for Godmothers. (if she would have been a boy, it woulda been all Godfathers...)
Tuckered out and catching a quick nap after the baptism...
Here we are at the hall, Tyna, Elizabeth and Roanna.
After the party, we tidied up, and headed out to the Grandparents house for some cedar plank salmon, my Dad and Trish hadn't had salmon done this way before, so I did up to different pieces so they could try it.
Back home after dinner, and back to the house in the morning so I could run the Dad and Trish to the car rental place. They are off around Alberta, and BC for the next week. So things will be quieting down for a few days.
Tomorrow we head back to the Grandparents house to drop off Elizabeth for a few hours, Roanna and I are going to take a break for a bit and try to catch a movie for a few hours. Speaking of movies, we finally got our TV back today, it works very well, though I called them to send someone to repair the scratches we had about 8 to 10 mostly on the decorative front, but two small scratches on the projection screen. What a way to end a four month wait for repairs...... but at least is works, and you can't tell the screen scratches are there, though I want them gone....
Anywho, everyone take care, Mom and Baby are still doing very well, and Elizabeth is doing new stuff every day, I swear she laughed out loud this morning.
Take care everyone,
Ian, Roanna and Elizabeth.

Tuesday Afternoon
Hi all,
Sorry there hasn't been an update, we have had a busy weekend, and of course now that we have another 40 pictures to upload, our digital camera has finally called it quits......
So no new photos this week.
Speaking of this week, my Dad and step Mom come in tonight for some visiting, so it is off to the airport for a pick up.
This weekend we are having Elizabeth Baptised at the same church we were married in, we were not to sure they could do it, but since we have family flying in they said they could. A quick shindig afterwards, and then we are free and clear for a few more days.....
Next Sunday I start my new job, I am an audio salesman at soundsaround, which works out perfectly right now.
Elizabeth got weighed this morning, and she is now 14 1/2 lbs, and 24 inches long. Which is doing well, she has put on 3/4 of a lbs each week since her last weigh in, and she has grown 1/4 of an inch. She is still looking as cute as every, and is a very smiley baby in the mornings, we will post some more pics when we dicide what to do about the camera.
Anywho, not much else to say, have a great week.
Well actually I do have something else to say now, I forgot to say I went shopping after the weigh in with Elizabeth. I ran into one of the ex neighbours, she lived with the other neighbour ( one who rents the apt. they are two young women). Well she hadn't seen Elizabeth up close so she asked to see her. I, being the forgetfull person I am asked her, Hey your my neighbour right? She tells me, Yeah, I was, but I moved to Fairmount (like a short walk away). The oh's and ah's over Elizabeth, then drops the bomb, she tells me she is now expecting. Which blows me away, cause, at about week two of having Elizabeth home, I had a dream that I was at the apt. and went to the next door apt. both the girls opened the door and they had a brand new baby, though they didn't say which one was the Mom. I thought this was a bit of a strange dream. I saw them a couple of days later, and said to them, it's gonna sound strange, but I dreamt that one of you had a baby!!! Kinda joked, well you should both be carefull!!! Well two months later I did find out that one is pregnant..... (the one that moved out, and I met today.)
Now if I can only dream up some lotto numbers.......

Sunday Morning
Hi all,
We are getting ready to go out to do some shopping, Roanna still has to pick up a couple of items for next weeks wedding, and we are going to price a new love seat, ours is a bit old, (second hand) and after awhile it does you back no good.... Might as well take advantage of the holiday sale weekend.
Yesterday we went to April & Mark's, a pre-Canada day for friends with kids, lotsa kids... Here was a cute photo from the party.
Elizabeth was quite good at the party for 99% of the time, though she did get a bit grumpy on the drive home, but it wasn't to bad.
There has been some success on the bottle front, though so far she hasn't drank more than 40 ml in one sitting. It seems that she doesn't cry as much, or complain as much, so hopefully it gets a bit more better. Roanna has been reading "baby books" and apparently we were supposed to have introduced the bottle at about week four.... ah well. So far the plan is to still leave her with the Grandparents on Saturday, but the back up plan is to take her with us, we shall see.....
We went to the clinic on Tuesday, for her shots, and she was very good, she got measured, just a tad under 24 inches, which puts her in the 90 to 95 % group on the baby chart, and she was weighed, 11lbs 15oz, which put her in the 10% group on the baby chart. So she is lean and lanky, last night we had to break out the 9 month onesies, just a bit long, but the 3 month stuff is just not fitting her.
The pic above was taken when she was in a happy mood, or zoned out from all the shots she got this week, either way, she was pretty good for a while.
Aside from that, the weather is good, work is dull, the car goes in this week for repairs, we have an ABS sensor gone on the car, so it has to be replaced, part cost is over 300 bucks.... not even including the labour.....ah well, could be worse, we could be owning a boat...
Everyone have a great Canada Day, for all you Canadian readers, and a good week for all the rest.
Take care,
Ian, Roanna & Elizabeth.
