Tuesday Afternoon

Hi all,
Not much happening now, finished my work this morning, now a day off tomorrow (YIPPEE!). Cleaning and sleeping, I think that is about it. Tonight we go over to Roanna's brothers house, then off to a restaurant, his birthday is today and we got him a couple of small gifts for him.

Other than that, work is going well, payday on Friday, the Bank came through with some good info for us, so hopefully by summer, we can be thinking about looking for a home, something a bit bigger and hopefully not through the roof cost wise, though houses are not cheap in Calgary at this point in time. No race though, we can stay here for a while which is fine for both of us. Occasionally, some idiot parks in our car spot, but other than that, no problems. They got thier squash court is fixed we may try start playing that on the weekends for some exercise. A few more months I think, and they should be putting up the tennis nets, we just have to find a few cheap rackets.

Ah well, rambling on now, everyone take care.

Ian

Things sound like they are going real good for you guys now. How much do you have to pay for a house where you are? It's nice you have good ways to eercise where you are renting. I would like nothing better than to be near a swimming pool because all I want to do is swim for exercise....

You guys I just spent some time looking at your webpage. It was so nice and you guys have put a lot of time and love in it. Just one thing...do you have a guestbook? Maybe I missed it. I espevially loved the story about Grandma and Gramps's 60th wa and looking at your family cartoons again. You guys take care

Hi Aunty,
well houses here have been going up since we moved here. About two years ago when I was looking at prices (alberta is listed as the 2nd or 3rd highest in Canada). A starter home (3 bedroom detatched) was around 180,000 to 235,000 (depending on location, garage, etc.) Now they are around 290,00 to 310,000 because of the amount of people flocking to Calgary & Alberta. I guess on the bright side is they are alot cheaper that Bermuda homes.....

Thanks for the comment on the Website, I need to fix it again, the server won't let me update it, I had to change the web address last time it did this. Just not bothered yet. I really need to do it, I have a really cool video of a goose honking at the zoo.
