Friday Night
Well Roanna is off with her mom for a while, and I am at home for a couple of hours before I head off to bed. Today was an ABSOLUTLY warm day, lotsa sun everywhere, it was so warm I even kept my jacket in my bag when I walked home.
Getting ready for the dinner tomorrow night, so the ribs came out of the brine and into the dry rub, (threw them into the brine yesterday). Tomorrow, they get smoked at April & Marks in the late afternoon, and hopefully they will come out okay.
Yesterday night we went and got to secondhand rocker/recliners, we aquired these last November but were unable to get them until yesterday. They were not even in the house for 2 minutes before Maxine claimed one for herself. They have been in the house for just under 24 hours, so far the count goes

Ah well, I'll drop a photo of her highness in her new throne when I upload it. Lets see for last news we finally have a home for Jenny, she is going back to her previous owner (our old landload) She will be up later in May and leave early June, and Jenny should be heading back with her. We hate to loose her, but this apt. is to small for both cats, and hopefully Maxine should open up a bit more.
Anywoo, getting ready for a visit from my Mom next week, so it should be fun to show her around the area a bit. Though she has been here before, hopefully the weater is a bit better.

Quick, get ahead and order some water!!
I guess you may have saw this on last years blog, but we had a water restriction for about a week, it almost turned in to a "your water will be turned off at such and such a time". We had flooding in June therefore they had so MUCH water they could not process it fast enough. I was quite amazed, back home lotsa rain equals longer showers. Here lotsa rain equals problems.... go figure.
